CPA Solutions' 2021 Tax Season Letter

It's prime time for your 2021 taxes.

The entire team at CPA Solutions wishes you, your staff and your families health and prosperity in this New Year!

Despite everything we happen to go through at present, the beginning of a new year is always something special as it comes with the excitement for a fresh start.

It’s Tax Time!!!

The IRS will start accepting income tax returns on January 24th.

Deadlines For Providing Your Tax Records:

We will need your submission of tax records by the dates below to ensure timely filing by the deadline. If not received by that date, we will file an automatic extension to file the return.

Business Taxes - Friday, March 4th
Individual Taxes - Wednesday, April 6th

Same as last year, we will not be accepting any in-person tax appointments in 2022. We will be happy to schedule a phone/zoom meeting after the completion of the return to review and discuss the outcome.

Upon request, we will provide you with your personalized tax organizer.

Our tax administrative staff will be verifying your address, email, phone number(s), filing status, dependents, and bank account information.  We ask you to submit us a copy of a voided check or other form of validation of bank account information.

Once you have all your data collected, please use our secure Client Portal to upload your documents. For security purposes, we highly discourage using email for document delivery. We are using a new secure portal this year. If you would like to be set up for this, please contact admin@mycpasolutions.com with your desired email address and mobile phone number for two factor authentication. You can also mail tax documents to us. If you do choose the snail mail option, we prefer that you send us copies and not original documents.

Extra attention is warranted this year due to economic stimulus checks the IRS previously sent out and advance Child Tax Credit payments, which more than 30 million households received monthly from July through December. You can claim an extra six months’ worth of the credits when you file your returns.

The IRS is sending taxpayers separate letters on stimulus and child credit payments they received to help them accurately record the information on their upcoming returns.

We strongly encourage you to sign up with the IRS for your Account access where you can view your outstanding tax balances, make and view payments, and access tax records and notices. Click here for the sign-up link.

Please note that without proof of your estimated tax payments, economic stimulus checks, and child tax credit payments, we won’t be able to complete your tax return.

For those of you who also have a business – please remember that the filing date for Forms W-2 and 1099 is January 31st.  If we’re preparing these for you, please get your information to us promptly.

We look forward to serving your tax, accounting, and financial needs again this year.

Sincerely,
CPA Solutions, Inc.
